About

7.89%. That is the property tax increase that was proposed by our current administration. Like you, I read all the excuses about why that was the only way to balance the budget, while we also read about another big business receiving IDA tax breaks for years to come.

Couple that with the clear shuffling of our tax dollars that are intended to pay for our current and future infrastructure as well as preservation that have gone to pay for the pet projects of the current administration. So now, in 2025, we the people who live here and love it here stand at a crossroads of continuing to allow our leadership to tax us out of our own homes or do we stand up and say enough is enough.

I am not a republican and I am not a Democrat. I am a human, a child of God, a son, a brother, a husband, a dad, and a friend to just about everyone I meet.

For the past 30 years I have worked professionally in non-profit leadership as a pastor; a role that has demanded personal and fiscal accountability and transparency. As a nonprofit entrepreneurial leader I thrive on challenges and love re-thinking, retooling and reimagining how to make the most out of the resources we have to use.

I promise to lead with humility and the self-awareness that, individually, I do not have all the answers but together we do! Together we can!
